The medium, Jerry, was seated in the closed cabinet in blackout conditions for the first part of the seance. The cabinet curtains were then opened and red lighting conditions were set so that witnesses could watch the demonstration of transfiguration phenomena. During this demonstration many faces were seen to become formed, each blending with the medium's own, to present differently in shape, age and personality. As always, this phenomena was fascinating to watch. Both sitters recognised many of the faces that have presented on previous occasions in similar conditions.
As this seance had been held on an impromptu basis the two sitters, Chris and Pat, decided to open the doors to any spirit visitors that might wish to come forward for a social chat. Three such guests responded to this invitation. Jerry sat in a receptive state of altered consciousness for the duration of this communication exchange:
